April 20th

Dear PS 2 families,

Hope you are all doing well! We miss you all! We have posted our lesson plans and the activities/visuals that go with them on our class page for the week of April 20-24th. You can find the activities/visuals on a file labeled for that day. For example, Monday’s activities will be in the file Monday, April 13th. All of our lesson plans are separated by subject Math, Literacy, Science/Social Studies, Fine & Gross motor and Play. Videos for the lesson plans will be posted nightly. For example, Monday’s video will be posted Sunday night.

This week’s theme is Earth Day.  In Literacy we are teaching how to write 3 new letters this week. We are teaching 3 new lowercase letters. The letters are “w”, “l”, and “y”. In Math we are teaching about patterns, counting objects 1-10 and tall/short. In science we are teaching about Earth Day. We are teaching different ways we can help our Planet. For fine/gross motor and play we came up with a lot of different fun activities for you to try! We hope you have fun doing all the activities.

If you have any questions on completing or accessing any of the activities please let us know. We are always checking our emails to provide any help that you may need.
