Welcome to Preschool 2

Here you will find our Peek at the Week, which tells you what your child is learning. You will also find notices about upcoming events and activities taking place in our classroom.

April 27th letter
Dear PS 2 families,
Hope you are all doing well! We miss you all! We have posted our lesson plans and the activities/visuals that go with them for the week of April 27th- May 1st. You can find the activities/visuals on a file labeled for that day. For example, Monday’s activities will be in the file Monday, April 27th. All of our lesson plans are separated by subject Math, Literacy, Science/Social Studies, Fine & Gross motor and Play. Videos for the lesson plans will be posted nightly. For example, Monday’s video will be posted Sunday night.
This week’s theme is Recycling and Community Helpers.
Literacy:
- Reviewing letters/ letter sounds
- Writing lowercase letter v
- Writing lowercase letter z
Math:
- Extending and duplicating patterns
- Counting objects 1-10
- Light/heavy
Science/S.S
- Recycling
- The 3 r’s (reduce, recycle, reuse)
- Community helper: Trash collector
- Community helper: Construction worker
Fine/gross motor & Play: Have fun doing the activities/games we planned for you :)

Also, we will be having our class zoom at 11:00 A.M on Tuesday, April 28th. This week’s zoom will be a story about recycling. See you all then :)
