Course Description

Welcome to SA-3!  No matter if we are in school or at home, SA-3 is a group of hardworking, awesome fifth graders!  
 
We will use this website as one way to inform of you assignments and  helpful resources moving forward.  Each Friday, lessons for each day of the upcoming week will be posted.  Lessons will be a variety of uploaded worksheets and Nearpod lessons.  To access Nearpod, please download the Nearpod app, or go to Nearpod.com.  We will be providing codes for Nearpod lessons that will launch your child's assignment.  Feel free to ask your child questions about how to use Nearpod because they use it all the time in school!  Miss Bambara and Miss Amedo will also be available by email if you have any questions at all.

This week in SA-3..2/10/20-2/14/20

Here is a look at what we are learning about this week in SA-3...
 
Math - This week in math we will be learning how to divide when there is a remainder.
 
Science - This week in science we will be learning about elements and the Periodic Table. 
 
ELA - This week in ELA we will be learning about how to sequence the events in a story.  
 
Social Studies - This week in social studies we will continue learning about the 13 colonies. 
 
We will also be attending The Tiegerman Valentine's Day Dance!!!!

This week in SA-3...2/3/20-2/7/20

Here is a look at what we are learning this week in SA-3...
 
Math - We are continuing to learn about the long division process.
 
Science - We are learning about matter and its three states.  We also will finish up learning about the Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen Cycle. 
 
ELA - We are learning about plural nouns and how to sequence the events in a text.
 
Social Studies - We are learning about the first 13 colonies.

Science - We will be learning about the water cycle. 
 
ELA - We will be learning about character and setting in a story. 
 
Social Studies - We will be learning about the 13 colonies.

Friday 1/17/2020

Today we participated in a Nearpod lesson all about Martin Luther King!  We learned that his perseverance and care for others paved the way for equality in the United States!  In SA-3 we always practice tolerance and treat others fairly and with respect.  
 
We hope everyone enjoys their three day weekend!
