Assignment Calendar

Course Description

Welcome to SA-3!  No matter if we are in school or at home, SA-3 is a group of hardworking, awesome fifth graders!  
 
We will use this website as one way to inform of you assignments and  helpful resources moving forward.  Each Friday, lessons for each day of the upcoming week will be posted.  Lessons will be a variety of uploaded worksheets and Nearpod lessons.  To access Nearpod, please download the Nearpod app, or go to Nearpod.com.  We will be providing codes for Nearpod lessons that will launch your child's assignment.  Feel free to ask your child questions about how to use Nearpod because they use it all the time in school!  Miss Bambara and Miss Amedo will also be available by email if you have any questions at all.

This week in SA-3...3/2/20-3/6/20

Here is a look at what we are learning this week in SA-3...
 
Math - We will be learning how to round decimals to the nearest ones, tenths and hundredths place. 
 
Science - We will be learning about physical and chemical changes.
 
ELA - We will be learning about themes in Dr. Seuss books in celebration of Dr. Seuss week!
 
Social Studies - We will be learning about French exploration in Mississippi and the French and Indian War.

Here is a look at what we will be learning this week in SA-3...
 
Math - We will be reviewing decimals and learning how to round to the nearest tenths place.
 
Science - We will continue learning about physical properties and how we can use them to describe matter.
 
ELA - We will be reading fables and learning about theme and the message in a story.  
 
Social Studies - We will be learning about colonial economies and the Spanish colonies in North America. 
 
We will also be learning about important African American figures in celebration of Black History Month.
