Course Description

Adobe Photoshop B

This course builds upon technical skills developed in Adobe Photoshop A.  Students will utilize the features of Photoshop to further work with image files. This half year course earns the student 1 HS credit.

Homeroom 11's "Share the Love" photo.  Student's learned how to make the glitter background in Adobe Photoshop!

Quiz in Photoshop B on Wednesday!

There will be a quiz on Glitter Typography on Wednesday, February 8, 2020 in all Photoshop B classes.
 
Any student who misses it will take it the next time they are in class.
 
Students have been reviewing since the beginning of the marking period by completing five practices and two projects.  Students are completing a third project before Wednesday using glitter typography as an extra review.
 
Homework 2 and 3 are review sheets for the quiz.  Homeworks are always due on Friday but these homeworks will help the students take their quiz on Wednesday.  It is encouraged for the students to complete them during homework period on Monday and Tuesday.  
 
Students will be provided class time to study and ask questions before they take the quiz.

Welcome to Marking Period 3!

Marking Period 3 begins Monday, January 27, 2020.
 
There are some more exciting changes this marking period!  With the close of Marking Period 2 came the end of the Photoshop A course.  Students who were in that course will advance to the Photoshop B course.  During this course, students will continue to build upon the foundations of Adobe Photoshop while they learn how to utilize filters, adjustments, and blending options.
 
The Art with Adobe course is a full year course but each Marking Period is a new focus!  Marking Period 1 was about Adobe Photoshop and Marking Period 2 was about Adobe Illustrator.  The students will review how to utilize these programs at the beginning of Marking Period 3 as they prepare to be introduced to learning the foundation of Adobe After Effects.
