Essay Test- March 26th

We will be having a Regents essay test on Thursday, March 26th.

Similar to what we have been practicing in class, students will first work with their group to read through the four articles from the English Regents exam and underline textual support for both the "for" and "against" sides of the argument. We will begin this part within the next week or so.

Students will then INDEPENDENTLY complete their planning page (most likely as a homework assignment).

The test will be utilizing that planning page to formulate a complete essay. The essay will be graded based on the English Regents exam's Part 2 rubric.
