Course Description
We are excited to be the teachers of PS 5 this year. We have a lot of fun things planned and are looking forward to a wonderful, exciting year ahead.
Some of the things that we will be focusing on are:
- modeling and increasing communication skills
- social development through play
- gross and fine motor skills
- overall academic growth

Our classroom Christmas tree got a little update!
Last week we made some salt dough "surprises" for our parents to see after the winter show! Check out the photo album to see all the students making their salt dough surprise!
This week the sensory table was changed to snow! The students are having so much fun exploring what's in the "snow".
Each student was able to make a piece of PS5's Christmas tree!
PS5 learned about the different foods, activities and traditions that are celebrated during Hanukkah. They then made a menorah with their handprints and painted dreidels.
December Themes
During the month of December PS5 will learn about the different holidays that are celebrated (Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas & New Years).
