Crucible Notes on Act 3
I felt that the students would benefit from some details that I feel are being inverted. This is a summary of some main events with visuals.
Macbeth Class Activity

Students are conducting a short research activity in class.

In class students will be researching one historical topic that is relevant to Macbeth (the text that we will be reading in class). They will they will present their findings to their class mates. All of this information will be recorded in the Background information graphic organizer on page 2 of the new Macbeth packet.
Students are also expected to define a word for each topic which will be added to the graphic organizer [skepticism (witches and witchcraft), hierarchy (The Great Chain of Being), didactic(King James I of England), equivocation (Gun Powder Plot).
