Tiegerman Opens New School

In Woodside Location

An innovative and personalized learning experience

WOODSIDE, NEW YORK – August 26, 2019

On September 24th, 2019, Tiegerman will celebrate the successful opening of its newest addition, Tiegerman School at Woodside.

Tiegerman School at Woodside is a state-approved non-public school and will service pre-K through grade 12 special education students this coming fall. Tiegerman is proud to announce that its newest school will provide students with a unique approach to learning. Through its student to teacher ratio, Tiegerman School at Woodside will better serve the students who may require more individualized attention. Continuing its mission of “teaching the extraordinary,” Tiegerman School at Woodside’s classes will contain ratios of 10 students to one special education certified teacher and one teaching assistant, eight students to one teacher and two teaching assistants and six students to one teacher and three teaching assistants.

The community is invited to join Tiegerman for a celebratory ribbon-cutting for the new building on September 24th at 10am at 70-24 47th Ave in Woodside. Attendees will enjoy a ceremony honoring Tiegerman’s newest school and recent growth.
