Of this pool of worthy applicants, 20 were selected as finalists and one in each category as well as a Fan Favorite was awarded the grant LIVE at the awards ceremony.

Tiegerman was one of four finalists in the Leadership Excellence category because of Dr. Tiegerman‘s extraordinary success. Dr. Ellenmorris Tiegerman shared during her acceptance speech, “I am so very grateful not only for being here, but for having had this extraordinary experience working and serving so many individuals with special needs and developmental disabilities. They have made my life rich and made my life what it is today. Thank you all so much,” at the 2019 Imagine Awards. This is a wonderful spotlight on our 35-year history working with youth and adults with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders
