This Week in 6th Grade Math - 11/25 - 11/27

Students will have the opportunity to practice their money and time skills by playing different math related board games. They will also work on their Dreambox lessons and do some Thanksgiving related activities that will allow them to practice their foundational math skills. 

This Week in 6th Grade Math - 10/28 - 11/1

We will begin studying for the dividing with decimals quiz that will take place on November 4th and 5th. Students will work on the study guide in class and will play a study game as well. We also will be working on our Dreambox lessons. 

This Week in 6th Grade Math - 10/21 - 10/25

This week in math, we will be finishing up our notes on using long division to divide decimal numbers by whole numbers. We will also begin dividing decimal numbers by decimal numbers using long division. There will be homework on Tuesday and Thursday. Students will also be using Dreambox on Tuesday and Friday.

This is the homework about dividing decimal numbers by decimal numbers using long division.

We will be finishing up the notes about dividing decimal numbers by whole numbers on Monday. Students will have homework on Tuesday and will also be doing dreambox that day.

This week, students will begin working on division with decimal numbers. We will first begin the week with estimating quotients (rounding then dividing) and then move into long division of decimal numbers by whole numbers. Homework will be on Thursday.

This is classwork we will be working on that will continue into next week. The students will be using long division to divide decimal numbers by whole numbers.

We will begin taking our first quiz on estimating decimal products (rounding then multiplying), multiplying decimal numbers by whole numbers and multiplying decimal numbers by decimal numbers. The quiz will be on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday if necessary. We will be using Dreambox on Friday. There will be no homework this week. 

This Week in 6th Grade Math - 10/2-10/4

We will begin reviewing for our first quiz on estimating decimals (rounding then multiplying), multiplying decimal numbers by whole numbers and multiplying decimal numbers by decimal numbers. We will work on the review guide during class time this week. The quiz will be on Monday and Tuesday, 10/7/2019 and 10/8/2019.
