Welcome to Living Environment class! I have been teaching here at Tiegerman for the past 6 years, and am excited for another school year! Living Environment covers and reviews the fundamental principles of biology. It is a 1.5 year course, ultimately preparing students to take the regents in January of 10th grade. We will cover the following topics in Living Environment:

Create an enzyme project - due January 31, 2020
Students are expected to create their own enzyme to speed up an everyday activity in their lives
EX: I could create the enzyme "gradease" to help me grade students work faster.
They should create a poster on the provided template. Posters should be colored in and done with effort.
Attached is the CreateanEnzymeActivity, which contains the actual assignment and everything that needs to be included, as well as the create an enzyme project template, which is what students should draw their enzyme on. I also attached a completed example of the enzyme donowase
