Supported Employment (SEMP)

Tiegerman Community Services (TCS) is dedicated to meeting the vocational aspirations of adults with developmental disabilities by providing Supported Employment (SEMP) services through OPWDD (Office for People with Developmental Disabilities) and ACCES-VR (Adult Career and Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation.)

OPWDD offers two main programs through Supported Employment Services, the Employment Training Program and Pathways.

The Supported Employment program provides assistance and support in the following areas:

1. Vocational Training

2. Career Development

3. Job Retention Strategies

4. Job Placement Activities

5. On-the Job Coaching

6. Travel Training

Additional training is provided on and off the job site to support individuals in the workplace environment.
